Conference on administrative unit – special economic zone law project

Within the framework of the project “strengthening capability of law formulation for the Government Office”, the Government Office coordinated with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province and GIZ to hold the conference on Conference on administrative unit – special economic zone law project.

Participants of the conference included Leaders of the Government Office, Leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and representatives of relevant Ministries and sectors. Mr. Le Quoc Hung – Director of ICT Company and consultancy team of the law project participated in the conference in a role of supporting the law drafting committee.

On August 09, 2017, Mr. Le Quoc Hung and the consultancy team conducted a survey in Van Don district, as well as working with People’s Council, People’s Committee and judicial bodies on several contents as follows:

-  Consultation on socio-economic policy in the administrative unit – special economic zone law project.

- Consultation on regulations of decentralization and authorization between the Government, ministries, sectors and authorities.

-  Consultation on organizational model of administrative unit – special economic zone.

-  Status of commercial disputes, capability of dispute resolution of judicial bodies and court replacement institutions.

- Consultation on regulations related to selection of applicable law and methods of resolving trade and investment disputes in the administrative unit – special economic zone; Practical condition and capability of judicial bodies, reconciliation agencies (if any) and judicial support organizations.

- Consultation on organizational regulations and competence of People’s Courts, People’s Procuracy and investigative bodies in the administrative unit – special economic zone.
